MINUTES OF THE BENNINGTON COMMUNITY BOARD MEETING

Tuesday, October 24, 2006

I. Meeting called to order at 7:45pm

Board members present: Jan Erickson, Robin Palmer, Geovanny Fallas, Adam Wohl, Greg Mott, Lyuba Hubbard and Brett Palmer.

II. General Comments

· Jan Erickson (Board President) announced that the marking of reserve spaces has been completed.

· The City of Gaithersburg has begun to pick up leaves along the common area curbs.

III. Community Comments

· Peter Moskal (10 Goodport Lane) asked how much money is in the Community’s reserves and what happened to the reserves that were taken out. Jan Erickson (Board President) responded that the money was put into our account to pay bills. Brett Palmer (Board Member) explained to Peter Moskal (as much as allowed) the suspicion of misappropriation of funds by our former bookkeeper.

· Peter Moskal also asked about the commercial vehicle parking in the neighborhood. The Board explained that a letter will be going out to the community informing residents the intent to follow the rules of our HOA documents.

V. Approval of Minutes:

· Minutes for the September 26, 2006 Board meeting were approved.

VI. Treasurer’s Report (Affiliated Property Management):

· There is a copy of the report in the Administrative office.

VII. COMMITTEE REPORTS

· Parking Committee

Motion made to repaint VISITOR on the street at the beginning of each visitor space. Motion passed.

VIII. NEW BUSINESS

None reported

Information shared included:

Carla Johnson (Administrator) will call Miller and Dodson and let them know we never received the reserve study.
